The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Fisheries (ICSF) is an interdisciplinary platform for inspiring young educators and leading researchers to exchange their experiences on practical challenges encountered with all recent concerns and their recent innovations as well as solutions adopted against these challenges at the forefront of food security. It is focused on expanding new wings on multidisciplinary prospects of wetland fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Fisheries will be held at the Faculty of Fisheries, Sylhet Agricultural University in Bangladesh, on August 25-27, 2019.

The conference aims to gather leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to share their research findings in the field of aquaculture and fisheries sciences. It is an interdisciplinary platform for inspiring young educators and leading researchers to exchange their experiences on practical challenges encountered with all recent concerns and their recent innovations as well as solutions adopted against these challenges at the forefront of food security. It is focused on expanding new wings on multidisciplinary prospects of wetland fisheries and aquaculture sector. The program includes thematic sessions, presentations by world-renowned keynote speakers, and a training workshop organized by TBTI!


TBTI workshop on ‘Transdisciplinarity in Fisheries and Ocean Sustainability’

In conjunction with ICSF 2019, International TD training workshop will be held which will take place on August 24 and 28-29, 2019. In order to facilitate participation of scientists, practitioners, students and others who are already planning to attend the ICSF, a small number of scholarships by TBTI Global are available for participants whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the ICSF. Given the theme of the conference, “Wetlands Fisheries for Food Security”, priorities will be given to participants from countries where wetlands fisheries dominate.
